Details
Gibson’s ES-175 is often described as the Workingman’s Archtop. This example from 1968 is so clean that we suspect it did most of its work from home. There are no cracks, no significant nicks, scuff or dings and the natural blonde finish has the typical lightly crazed look that gives old Gibsons that sought after patina. This guitar has all of its original parts except for the tailpiece, which looks like it’s a replacement from the 1970s. The humbucking pickups have the correct patent number stickers for the era. The frets were replaced a couple of years ago and they have just a hint of wear. The original case is in equally clean condition.
