Details
This is one of the best examples of Martin's 0-15 model Gryphon has had, both in terms of its sound and originality. Oh, and it's also highly playable thanks to a neck reset and refret here at Gryphon about 8 years ago. Buttons on the original tuners have been replaced, a side crack to the bass-side lower bout has been repaired and cleated. That's it for changes, the ebony nut, faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and bridge are original, as is all the finish. Great neck profile for those who prefer 1 11/16" wide necks but with a little more mahogany to hang on to. The 0-15 model was introduced in 1940, and was a favorite of Woody Guthrie, who not only played one but also ordered several other 0-15s over the years which he gave to friends.
