Details
We special ordered this Santa Cruz Rosewood D with scalloped Adirondack top braces, which are attached with hot hide glue, the same way guitars from the 1930s were built. This gives the guitars some crunch and zing to the trebles, a nice balance because some lightly-braced rosewood D models have lots of bass but the trebles can get lost in the rumble and roar of all that bottom end. This guitar has nice East Indian rosewood back and sides with tight grain and lots of color variation, and a clean timeless look thanks to the binding on the neck but minimal inlay. A very subtle 'Cruz, at least until you play it. Lots of headroom with this one so you can be as unsubtle as you like in a jam session.
