Details
Martin's Standard Series OM-21 model has been one of Gryphon's favorite "non-dreadnoughts" since it was introduced in the early 1990s. Like its fancier sibling the OM-28, this model has a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a 1 3/4" wide nut width and a 25.4" scale length. It also has a scalloped X bracing and an ebony fretboard and bridge and vintage-style open back tuners and faux tortoiseshell binding and pickguard. The neck has a low modified oval shape. Martin never made OM back in the early 1930s in the 21 Style, which is a bit odd since the style dates back to the 1850s and has been used for various models ever since.
