Details
This Martin D-28 Golden Era was made in 2005. The top of this guitar is Adirondack spruce and the back and sides are Brazilian rosewood, a feature that was discontinued the following year. Like the D-28s made in the 1930s, this guitar has forward shifted x-bracing. If you're looking for that iconic Brazilian rosewood Martin Dreadnought tone and power, here's a solid contender. Other 1930s features include a through-cut saddle, a 1 ¾” nut width and a subtly V-shaped neck. This D-28 GE is coming up on its 20th birthday but it sure doesn't show it. There are light pick & finger scuffs to the pickguard, some shirt-button squiggles to the finish on the back, and some light fret wear. Original Martin case is equally clean.
