1920s Martin 2K Koa Taropatch 8-stringed ukulele
  Our Price: $3,125
This is one of the rarest Martin ukuleles we have had in for as long as I can remember.. A 2K Taropatch in good working condition from the twenties is a special instrument. Having been built by Martin they actually play well. They have a unique tone and resonance to them that sets them apart from anything else from the period. This one has several old cracks on the top and back that are repaired and perfectly lined up so they don't show unless you are looking for them. Call us for a detailed description. The wide neck makes the fingerboard feel comfortabe to a guitar player and the size of the instrument gives it a nice heft that you don't normally get in twenties ukuleles. The original shellack finish does not appear to have had anything add to it, and no over spray for sure. It's got various nicks and dings which should show clearly in the photos but feel free to call about any questions. Tom
